This is hands down my top pick for weekday breakfast in Waco! Harvest on 25th is a wonderful, locally-owned café that has fresh, local food made to order.
Try their delicious beef chorizo hash or the zucchini and wild mushroom omelet if you want something savory. Craving sweets? The pancakes are amazing, and I love every pastry I’ve ever tried here. (Get the scone!)

2. Magnolia Table
Chip and Joanna’s farmhouse-style restaurant might be absolutely packed for weekend brunch, but if you swing by on a Tuesday morning, you’ll most likely be seated right away. There’s always a fun, buzzy energy in here!
Joanna Gaines’s biscuits are a must-try on the menu. I think that the Classic Farm Breakfast is the best menu item because you get to try a little bit of everything.

Located just a bit north of Waco at Homestead Heritage, Waco Waffle Co is a great place to stop for breakfast before exploring the cheese cave and the rest of Heritage Craft Village.

Oh, George’s…it’s a classic in Waco for a reason! No, you’re not going to be wowed by a modern restaurant or a rotating menu. But you will get some of the most tried-and-true weekday breakfast favorites in Waco. This place has stood the test of time since it opened in 1930.

If you’re craving a healthy weekday breakfast in Waco, go to Mamaka Bowls. These delicious acai bowls are seriously SO insanely good! You can top yours with any option of customizable toppings, but I like going with the pre-made choices because they’re always so nicely balanced. I love The Bro because it has peanut butter and protein powder in it.

6. Toasted Yolk Cafe
I used to hate the name (who toasts a yolk??) until I realized that they’re referring to a menu item where they put an egg in the middle of a slice of sourdough bread and toast the whole thing (also called a toad-in-the-hole.) Ah, makes sense!
The food is actually really good at this weekday breakfast spot in Waco. The Toasted Yolk is your typical 2010s breakfast restaurant in a small town, meaning it’s very cozy and homey, and the menu has pretty much everything you’d hope to see on a breakfast menu: omelets, benedicts, pancakes, hashes, bowls, toasts, and more. 7. The Olive Branch
The Olive Branch is a popular breakfast and lunch spot in downtown Waco. Despite the Mediterranean-sounding name, the menu is mostly comfort American cuisine.
They have menu items like a maple bacon breakfast biscuit or a brisket breakfast burrito. There are also healthier options like omelets, breakfast bowls. It’s a robust menu!
