Baked Bliss: Ultimate Sweets Destination in Waco

It’s no secret that Waco is a destination for amazing sweets and bakeries (Silos Baking, Mo’s Cookies, Sweetness Desserts), but what if you’re gluten free and looking for some amazing pastries? I checked out a wildly popular bakery in Waco, Baked Bliss, to see if it lived up to the hype….and it did! Here’s a bit about Baked Bliss in Waco, TX.

About Baked Bliss

Baked Bliss is a full-service bakery in Waco offering both sweet and savory items. You can swing by and get a few desserts to enjoy right away, or order ahead if you want a full cake or pie. They also deliver!

And if you’re gluten free or dairy free, Baked Bliss is probably the best bakery in Waco for you. They have a huge amount of GF/DF goodies on their menu.

They have an adorable little patio outside. It’s a nice place to enjoy a sweet treat on a pretty spring day in Waco.

A Weird Ordering Experience

The only kind of weird thing about Baked Bliss is the ordering experience. They have a full bakery where they make all those delicious cakes, scones, cinnamon rolls, and cookies, and then they have a food trailer which is where they handle customer service and take/fulfill orders.

When you pull up to the bakery, it might seem like it’s closed….and that’s because they typically don’t have someone standing in the food trailer at all times. So you’ll have to walk up to the service counter and wait for someone to walk out of the bakery, around to the back of the trailer, and then talk to you through the window. It’s a bit odd, but it works.

Once you order your sweets, they might have to walk back through the back door of the trailer, across the patio, back to the bakery, and pick up the sweets, and then repeat the entire thing to hand you the order from the food trailer window. When I stopped by to order a couple cupcakes, I had to wait about 15 minutes for them to fulfill my order.

It’s all just a bit cumbersome, but it works.

Ok, now that the only slightly awkward thing is out in the open, let’s get to the fun stuff: THE SWEETS!

Baked Bliss’s Menu

This bakery has a massive menu of sweet baked goods! Their best-selling item is their cinnies, which are big fluffy cinnamon rolls covered in cream cheese frosting. They’re available in full size or as mini cinnies, with or without nuts. You can also get a dozen of them to share with people you love.

After those delicious cinnamon rolls, they also sell a lot of their amazing cupcakes. I’m here to tell you that they are the best cupcakes I’ve tried in Waco. They outshine the cupcakes at Silos Baking Co…there’s not even a comparison.

These cupcakes are dense and sweet (not too airy/fluffy) and covered with so much buttery frosting. They’re incredibly decadent!

Baked Bliss also sells cookies, scones, kolaches, quiche, bars, and pies. I wish I could give you a full review of every single item on the menu, because, quite frankly, everything looks so delicious and I want to try it all. But it will take me a few more visits to work my way through this menu.

This Is Where To Order Cakes and Pies In Waco

If you need a full size cake for a party, Baked Bliss is the place to go! You can order a custom vanilla cake (your choice of writing/sprinkles/etc) or a full pie (about 8 flavors available) for pick-up or delivery.

Location of Baked Bliss

The only downside to this bakery? It’s not located near downtown Waco or Baylor, so you’ll have to drive about a mile northwest of downtown. Which, I’m telling you, is NO big deal for the treat that’s awaiting you. (Try the lemon cupcake!)
