The Best Boutique Shops In Waco That You Have To Visit!
Everyone comes to Waco to shop at Magnolia Market. And yes, it’s really cute (especially at Christmas!) and well worth a visit. But did you know there are lots of other boutique shops in Waco other than Magnolia Market?

I mean, it’s a smart business move: small independent shops realized that Magnolia Market was already bringing all the tourists and shoppers to Waco, so they opened storefronts near Magnolia Market in order to glean off of the foot traffic and get shoppers in their own store. Smart!

Best Boutique Shops in Waco
1. Homestead Craft Village

I’ve shared about this place plenty of times, but if you love shopping at Magnolia Market, you’ll adore Craft Village! It’s a series of shops selling handmade goods, located at a homestead-based farm where families actually live a homestead lifestyle. It’s pretty wild. They raise livestock, grow their own produce, sew, weave, quilt…they even have the only water-powered mill in Texas that actually grinds the flour that they use to bake.
The thing I love about these shops is that these are truly one-of-a-kind, handmade goods. Unlike Magnolia Market, which has gotten so big that everything there is made overseas in bulk and it’s basically like shopping at Target, Craft Village has leather wallets, beautiful candles, vases, quilts, baskets, and other homegoods that are totally one-of-a-kind.

2. Wildland

This clothing store is so trendy and modern! Joanna Gaines has been known to wear a lot of the clothing that they carry here. It’s a curated selection of women’s clothing that’s utilitarian, chic, and effortless. If you want to buy a few staple items for your closet while you’re shopping in Waco, Wildland is 100% the place to go.

3. Spice Village

Spice Village is an indoor shopping mall destination in downtown Waco with dozens of independently-owned booths. Each booth has its own theme, like jewelry, kitchen items, Baylor gear, bedazzled drinkware, kids toys, etc.
There is SO much to see here! It’s very “Texas-middle-aged-mama” vibes, like tea towels with cute quotes on them, tumblers with rhinestones, and lots of boutique-style clothing. See my full review of Spice Village here!

4. Gather

If you love hosting, you will adore Gather! This boutique store in Waco is all about the art of hospitality, and they describe themselves as “traditional southern hospitality meets modern aesthetic.”
They partner with local artists in order to curate unique, one-of-a-kind homegoods that you can’t find anywhere else. You have to stop by and find something fun to buy for your next night of hosting your girlfriend's wine night!

5. Ramble & Co

Ramble is the store that I call “I didn’t know I needed this until I walked in.” Ha! I’ve popped into this adorable boutique store several times, and I always find a cool poster, an interesting little gift, a bright new sweater that catches my eye. There are so many cute things in here, whether you’re just looking to browse or you’re on the hunt for a fun gift idea. Psst: this place is next door to Milk Bottle Cookies - make sure you stop there for one of the best cookies in Waco!

6. Cottontail Jones

This is the sweetest children’s boutique store in Waco! Cottontail Jones just feels cute! They have both new and used children’s clothing, shoes, toys, and books. The husband-wife team has 6 children, so they really know about kids’ gear!
Cottontail Jones focuses on well-made, organic children's clothing. It’s not cheap stuff that you wear once and throw away. The items in this store are made to last and be passed down from one child to another, so they’re good investment items you’ll use again and again. I love that.
WEBSITE | 1025 Austin Ave, Waco, TX 76701, United States
7. Urban Bliss Boutique

You’ll feel the owner’s love of all things FASHION when you walk in the door! Carmen Robinson started Urban Bliss Boutique to fuel her love of clothes and helping others, and the store absolutely radiates with her energy. There are SO many fun dresses, rompers, tops, and hats here, as well as accessories and cute beauty/home items.
This is the perfect Waco boutique store to visit during your girls weekend trip or bachelorette trip to Waco!

8. Twisted Sisters Shoetique

I know that many of you just read “shoetique” and screamed “sign me up!!” This boutique shop in Waco is all about shoes, and they truly deliver! They focus on shoes and clothing that are fun and trendy and moderately priced, which makes this a great place to shop for multiple pairs of shoes because the prices won’t break the bank.
The aesthetic here caters toward young college girls and women in their early twenties, making it another really fun shop for groups going to Waco for a bachelorette trip. (Btw - have you seen my 3-day itinerary for your bachelorette party in Waco?)

For all of you who are visiting Waco with the sole purpose of shopping at Magnolia Market, do yourself a favor and make sure to save time for a trip to Coming Home To Waco. This is a homegoods store that’s only 2 blocks from Magnolia Market that has an impressive number of Round Top Collection goods, as well as other curated homegoods.
If you love seasonal décor, Coming Home To Waco is probably the best place in Waco to shop for the current holiday! They go ALL OUT for every holiday, including the little ones like Valentines, St Paddy’s Day, and Halloween. You can get all sorts of fun stuff here.

10. Fabled Book Shop

Ahh, my very favorite little store in Waco Texas! Fabled Bookshop & Cafe is a locally- and female-owned bookstore. It’s quaint, cozy, and full of all sorts of wonderful books. I love how they put little tags on the bookshelves giving staff recommendations.
The middle of the bookshop is a café where you can stop by for a chai latte and sit down to read the new book you just purchased. And if you’re visiting with kids, they have the coolest secret Narnia wardrobe entrance to the children’s section, as well as a weekly Storytime. 10/10 recommend visiting this adorable Waco shop!
WEBSITE | 215 S 4th St, Waco, TX 76701, United States
Ok, I’ve shared 10 that I personally love, but there are obviously dozens of these little shops throughout Waco. Lots of them are downtown, which is the main area I’ve shared…I’m assuming you’ll already be shopping at Magnolia Market, so I wanted to keep things local. But if you have a car and you want to wander a bit, there are even more shops scattered around the outskirts of Waco, too!
Happy shopping!
