Exploring LaSalle Shoppes: A Treasure Of Antiques in Waco
Even if you’re not a big “antiques person,” I think you’ll really enjoy going to LaSalle Shoppes in Waco! It’s an eclectic antique store with all sorts of interesting vintage finds. It has that old-school charm that Waco is known for. Plus, it’s really close to Magnolia Market, so it’s easy to just pop over and check it out. Here’s a look at LaSalle Shops in Waco.

About LaSalle Shoppes

LaSalle Shoppes is a single store, but it’s actually a collection of little shopping “booths” that are all individually curated by different owners. (Similar to Spice Village!)
There are more than 30 different vendors who supply the antiques and vintage goods for this shopping destination.

LaSalle Shoppes moved to downtown Waco, so now it’s conveniently located at 1800 Austin Ave #3, Waco 76706. If you’re shopping at Magnolia Market, you can easily head to LaSalle and just add it into your shopping spree in Waco!

I think that I love places like LaSalle Shoppes because it feels like “old Waco.” There’s a certain charm to the idea of searching for something in a cramped antique store. It’s what made all of us fall in love with HGTV’s Fixer Upper in the first place - we all loved watching Joanna Gaines search through little antique shops in Waco and finding the perfect items to place on the handcrafted built-ins her husband made in the home they were renovating together. It just feels fun to search for a treasure!

What Sorts Of Things Do They Sell At LaSalle?

Um…everything? I mean, pretty much any antique item you can think of! They have big stuff (antique furniture, clothing, and even antique appliances like old stoves and vintage refrigerators), kitchen items (classic lime green Tupperware from the 70s and full settings plate ware) a lot of kids stuff (cool mid century toys, a bunch of VHS collections) and pretty much any random décor you can think of (baskets, wall art, doo-dads, etc.)

One of the best ways to see what they have is to look at their Facebook page, which they update pretty regularly with things that vendors bring into their booths.
LaSalle isn’t for the faint of heart! You have to really like digging around and searching. It’s not a shiny, crisp, curated shopping experience. It’s more like a hunt. If you love literally “finding” treasures and searching for something specific to bring home at the end of your shopping excursion, I have a feeling you’ll absolutely love this place.

And if you just love browsing, I’m here to tell you that you can spend a lot of time in this Waco shopping destination! I was searching for a specific type of end table, and I figured I’d just swing by quickly to see if anything struck my fancy. Well, I was there a lot longer than I anticipated…but I had a great time exploring!
