Best Antique Shops In Waco
It should come as no surprise that there is a treasure trove of amazing antique shops in Waco! After all, before they owned the BIG Magnolia Market, Joanna and Chip Gaines started Magnolia Market as a very small shop on Bosque Blvd where Joanna would sell her cool home goods.
Nowadays, there are several awesome antique shops in Waco for people who love hunting through vintage items to find treasures. If you haven’t considered Waco one of the best cities in Texas for antique shopping, think again! There are dozens of fantastic antique shops here, and when you’re done shopping, Waco has a bunch of adorable coffee shops and phenomenal restaurants where you can refuel. Happy shopping!

Best Antique Shops in Waco
I can’t possibly include every single Antique shop in Waco in this guide, because there really are so many in this small Texas town! But use this guide to help direct you to a few of the very best ones (in my opinion!) and then continue exploring this city. I know you’ll find some treasures. 🙂
Central Goods

Furniture, art, clothing, home décor….they got it! Central Goods is a very big antique shop in downtown Waco, so it’s a great place to start if you're hunting for something specific. They have simple “garage-sale” finds like cheap vintage lamps or glassware, all the way to high-end estate sale pieces like complete kitchen table and chairs sets and valuable artwork.

LaSalle Shoppes

LaSalle shops is one of the best antique shops in downtown Waco. It’s a series of booths (or little “shops”) which are all independently stocked, but there’s just one check-out register to make things seamless. The reason I love this place and think it’s one of the best antique shops is because there are so many different types of people finding vintage items to sell here!
Every booth is incredibly unique. There are some that focus solely on antique Christmas decorations, others sell vintage women’s lingerie from the 1950s, and others have cool vintage kitchen goods like lime green Tupperware and cool old casserole dishes. It’s a fun spot!

Junque in the Trunk

Junque in the Trunk is AMAZING! If you like cool vintage items but you don’t love having to sort through a lot of the crap you find at regular antique shops, this place is for you. They have a more curated selection of handmade goods, vintage items, home furnishings, and some true antique pieces. They also have seasonal items and apparel, so it’s a bit more like “Magnolia-Market-meets-antique-shops.”

Show and Tell Antiques

If you love interesting old homes, you need to stop by Show and Tell Antiques. It’s in a cool old historic home with a rich history, and sometimes the staff will even give you a tour. The antique shop is stocked with a really good selection of rare finds, so if you’re looking for something in particular, Show and Tell Antiques might have it. {Photo: Carla P.}

Laverty’s Antiques Furnishings

The good: this is one of the all-time best antique stores in Waco, and folks eagerly await the store’s sporadic opening! The bad: it’s rarely open…ha. You have to check the Facebook page to see when it’s going to open, and even then it’s not consistent. But if you happen to catch Laverty’s when it’s open, they have an awesome selection of antique furniture. {Photo: Homewreckers}

Treasure City Flea Market

Flea markets can be a wonderful place to search for antiques if you love the game of finding things! They can also be very overwhelming to novice shoppers. Treasure City Flea Market is a medium-sized market that’s open on the weekends. You can find a lot of really cheap items, so if you have a good eye for design and know how to weed through the bad stuff, you might find a few really nice items here. {Photo: Kallysta G.}

Worth noting: Magnolia Market is a really fun destination in Waco for shopping, dining, and hanging out, but it’s not an antique shop. Magnolia Market is full of beautiful home goods in Joanna Gaines’s signature farmhouse style. However, most of these home goods are now made in bulk to keep up with demand. If you want some cool vintage or antique items, visit one of the antique shops on this list.
